I, His Royal Highness Igwe Charles Abangwu, CON, the traditional ruler of Eha-Alumona and Leader of Adada State Movement on behalf of all the people of the proposed Adada State welcome you to the official website of the Movement for the Creation of Adada State . The creation of Adada state is the ardent desire of my heart which I yearn to see before the setting of my sun, before I happily take my seat beside my illustrious ancestors at the right hand of the Almighty. History calls you to be part of this honourable and redemptive movement.

The Old Nsukka Senatorial Zone now asking for the creation of Adada State has all the attributes of greatness except the crucial element of a state of its own. We have welcomed visitors, given red-carpet reception to settlers, played our full part in the Federal Republic of Nigeria but we have been denied the dividends of our efforts because we have no state or political platform of our own.
Nsukka stands out as the academic capital of Nigeria having been home of the University of Nigeria since it was opened in 1960 as part of ceremonies marking the independence of the country but despite the high level of literacy, abundant professional skills and a very large population we have no power of statehood to develop our area.
I, therefore, call on everybody from the local governments making up the proposed Adada State and all men and women of goodwill wherever they come from and wherever they live to support our demand for the creation of Adada State.
